I have a hollowtech BB, see link below, and I have changed the worn out bearing in one cup but one of the plastic end caps is broken.

Does anyone know if I can just buy the end cap? I had a quick look but I couldn't find a part number or one for sale on the net. I usually use hope bottom brackets but if I can get a cap I can keep it as a spare or sell it etc.

I just found this one but it's out of stock and I'm not sure if it would fit a shimano BB.
why didn't you just buy this?

Don't buy a deore one.
You can pick up the new XT for £15 at Merlin, crc etc. Just make sure they have the adapter to fit them as the spanner size is smaller.
As for the caps i suspect not available as a lot of shimano is disposable. Your best bet would be to ask for someone who has a knackered bb to send you the cap/ cup if you really want to fix this one.
I don't want to buy a new one as my hope bb is working fine but it seems a waste to throw the shimano one away just because the plastic spacer is broken.
