[#1687272]

I was away last week so haven't been on here.
How did the preview ride go and what are the new bits of the course like? Many more signed up?

it's filling up nicely now - in fact at this rate we'll have sold out in a matter of days.

Which is nice.

Hi Chunks!
We went on the preview ride. None of the organisers turned up, although terra's missus had us going for a short while. We finished the preview ride with only two people fewer than we started with too, which was nice.

Does that mean I'm safe to book my train tickets? ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh no. I really want to do this and I'm waiting for a friend's friend to give us the go ahead.

Ah. Just read the previous thread. I think there *may* be a spider with it's legs pulled off in the near future...

It's sounding like HTN is going to be a veritable Who's Who/That of the STW world.

I think I still owe nbt some beer from the first one.

nbt, you're still making a big thing about 'the organisers didn't turn up' when in fact there was only me going to be turning up in the first place. I had a virus so couldn't, but under the circs I think we handled that pretty well with a pair of 'knowledgeable associates' taking the helm.

I hope you've got a note from your mum.

Terra, sorry if it sounds like I'm "having a go", that's not the case (as I recall I've only mentioned it twice - here and on the other thread that's linked). I was appreciative that despite illness you (or rather your missus) sorted out a replacement guide in proper shonky fashion. Anyway, Mrs NBT's entered properly now so I'll have to get my camera stuff ready and take loads of photos, and get ready to drink beer. oh, it's a hard life sometimes
