Although it is actually the 7th, but our numbering system has included a couple of 0.5s and a "Resurrection" so it has all gone to sh!t.

Blimey that's miles away AND on the wrong side of the pennines for a Yorkshireman, but got a a cross bike now so might as well add 'northern mincing' to my masterclass of rubbish riding. I shall go and dig out my cloth cap and detailed geographical map of West Riding to ensure I fit right in.
No doubt there will be the traditional post race piss up too.

it will be a nice change watching you ride, rather than taking the p!$$ out of folk trying to get down that slippery hill 😀
I hope not. We'll have grit dumps, wheel barrows and shovels at various spots on the road but I don't fancy having to do it again.

Has someone started a 'which tyres' (to get out of the car park) thread yet?
Is the "Field of Destiny",still in? I rode through that on every lap...not sure if it was any quicker than walking....but it gave me a misplaced feeling of superiority over those that were pushing......at exactly the same speed..
Yep, The Field of Despair is still in and so is MTFU Hill.
The Chin is also still around somewhere, but we will have to dig out the strimmers to find it.
I'm only coming if my requests for fire and claymore mines have been incorporated into the field of despair.
also, is there random drug testing? I'm getting pretty good at telling the difference....

In other news our Minister of Corporate Image, Warren, is doing some T Shirts. They will be on a limited run and I don’t know how or when we’ll be selling them but they will look mint.
Entry will be opening as soon as we’ve crossed all the Is and dropped all the Es.
Speaking of E's, could we have an unashamed dopers race, where we al neck pills and snort a few lines before we set off?
I'm guessing it'd be probably be the lardier amongst us that'd indulge. So our drug-addled unpredictability would add an extra frisson of excitement as the CX bike-mounted race whippets try to lap us. Would we jump off and try to give them a big hug

Well I suppose I MIGHT turn up. Hopefully the club dinner won't coincide with the after party again this year, in fact if it doesn't this is likely to be the Weaver Valley MTB trophy race again!

This is official as we have a note book with Champions of The Known Universe written on the front of it. There will even be a trophy.
