Ok you lot.

Friends of mine are getting married. Rather than a wedding list or anything, they've said they would prefer people to give them money towards a nice new pair of bikes for them.

As well as my contribution (and of course 'what bike?' advice 😉 ), I want to get them something small, bike-related, and a bit of fun.

Ideas on a postcard please. Ta.

Nothing too extravagant. Say in the order of 20 quid or so. Just want something fun that they can have to unwrap as well as some bike money.

I got some really nice mtb sculpture figures for friends who got married earlier this year - were about £25 each incl delivery from moab - try here : http://www.earthstudiomoab.com/home/es2/smartlist_182/mountain_bike_sculpture.html - took about a week delivery

Does he know whether they even read MBR though?

(That's a good idea actually)

I had exactly the same plan recently and got some customised His 'n' Hers top caps from these chaps www.purelycustom.com. Took about 3-4 weeks to arrive from the US and look great. You get a choice of wording engraved, a choice of colours plus a piccie if you desire too.

....or can I post yet again my all time favourite cycling photograph. Buy one of these for about a tenner, get it framed, very nice.

Thanks for all the ideas. I really like the top caps so everytime they ride they are reminded of what a great mate I am 😉

But the Moab sculptures won through. As I said, they're really into their art, so perfect combination really. Cheers iainc for the suggestion.

Quite like one for myself too now.

Cheap Pink tyres for her and blue for him. Might raise a laugh!
How about some sort of matching screen printed jerseys?

I think the top caps with bride and groom on is by far the best idea! USE or BETD will help you I am sure.
