[#10288939]

Hi, I'm going to upgrade the Factory DPS shock on my standard Hightower. Really struggling to decide between a 2019 Dpx2 or a 2019 X2. I'm a fairly lightweight rider, 70kg kitted up and ride everywhere from BPW, Brechfa, Brecon Beacons and anywhere else beginning with B..😂. It'll be from TFTuned so will be tuned to my specifics hopefully and I have a Shockwiz if I feel it needs tweaking.

I've read loads of reviews and opinions but not of these latest models. Just looking for some guidance from anyone with experience of either... X2 overkill or dpx2 not adjustable enough...?

Cheers

Nick

Have you ruled out Cane Creek's shocks? Whatever they call the air inline one could be right up your street.

So much more affordable than Fox and performance is on par IME.

Dps that came on a friend's hightower LT from 2018 was , well, crap. He went DPX and is much happier, although i havent tried it. It should be metric... 😀

I have a DPX2 from TF Tuned and I'm delighted with it. Totally transformed the ride of my Hightower.

DVO Topaz. It's good enough for Cedric Gracia

Thanks for all the suggestions. I've considered CC and DVO but I'm sold on either of the two Fox options. Think it's the X2 that's looking the most likely candidate.
