You know the real riding season begins when the first Claudio track preview is posted.

Phew - I was worried they were trying to fob us off with the Bootcamp series.

That jump into the darkness of the woods freaks me out

Love Claudio's preview runs.I still don't know if he's laughing through enjoyment or relief that he's survived!

Whoa that was the most out of control I've seen from Claudio! Plenty clumsy landings, a few corners he only just got away with, proper twitchy bottom stuff.

@ tor5 - Thought this was a road, touring and dog walking forum TBH.

How does he manage to talk so much? I know he's ex World Cup racer but he's showing some skills to do all the gaps and get down safe on that slick a track.

Wish they wouldn't swap camera views constantly - the low view from the chest mount does my head in.

Looks like it could be fun if it stays wet. Bring on Sunday!

Love Claudio's track previews. astonishing that he can talk (mostly) sensibly at all.

looking slippy, favour the Europeans?

I'm really looking forward to this season - Brit girls for the win and maybe three off them in top 5..., Brit lads I am hopeful for as well - Ratty to do well and maybe a re-invigorated Atherton...

Seriously sketchy run, and love the fact that Claudio is genuinely scared yet goes for it every time....

What's with the very weird chain line on Remi's bike. Is that a new 'thing'?

I am excited! That track looked hard enough in the dry last year, just crazy in the wet.

Remi's on a Commencal which has a very high pivot point to give a strongly rearward axle path (to help carry speed through bumps) and thus needs an idler pulley to bring the anti-squat and pedal kickback down to good levels.
