[Closed] Hemlock update.

Following on from the thread the other week i've given the bike a proper test.

I've been riding it since Jan/Feb, its a brand new 08 front end with an original ex demo back end. It has 100mm rockers and a Pearl shock with 09 Talas 36 forks. All the kit is Xt kinda level.

In this time its done Whinlatter/Dalbeattie/Glen T freeride park/Inners red/Stainburn loads and hours of good techy local stuff. Its a small and i weigh less than 12 stone.

Last week, while out with a mate, me on my 456 him on a Rockhopper i showed him a local drop i hadn't dared do. Its 6' from take off to landing and the landing, while soft with old leaves and stuff is not that far off flat.
He's daft as brush and nailed it so i had no choice but to follow him..

I took the Hemlock up there and in trying to get a good photo (brother in law failed dismally, got me pre take off/landing/not at all!) i dropped it 3 times.

Now this is not really my kind of thing (won't be making a habit of it), while its a good buzz, its bound to end in tears and plays havoc with my back. But surely if my bikes had any weakness this would have found them..

As an aside i've persuaded my mate to buy an Orange Crush before he kills his poor Rockhopper!
