hi guys,
Can anyone help with this? I've just inherited a fairly old Thule roof bar which fits my bike fine, apart from the ratchet straps which are too short for my wheels. They're fairly thick rims but 2.4 tyres. Is there any way of getting extensions or longer ratchet straps to fit? At the mo i have to let the tyres down to get a fit which is just irritating!
I have 2.4s and no problem but you can get new straps if you have managed to get some short ones
thulespareparts.co.uk might be able to help. They sell all the individual spare bits.
The Ratchet straps on my Proride 591 fit 2.5 tyres no hassle, so if the ratchets are the same size, that might work for you
