Having a recently had my bike stolen (Norco six one with domain forks) I am looking for a second hand bike that would be suitable in the Alps this summer looking to spend about £600 anyone got any ideas? Was thinking along the lines of Kona Stinky or Specialized big hit maybe?

Yep Stinky's are right on the money, just been building up a budget alp bike myself, but restrained myself to 150mm travel (old Devinci Guzzler) so I can do other rides with it too...
There were some brand new Big Hits around the other day at 1k if you can stretch your budget.. I had a quick google and cant find em now, was in demo colours, if you do a search.
