I've been experiencing judder when dragging the front brake. I'm using 08 minis and have had the mounts faced, centre'd the caliper as per hope tech video and even (like I needed the excuse) changed the rotors to floaters and its still there. What else can it be?
fork bushes?
loose headset ?
god punishing you for the fact that you're dragging the front brake ?
Checked the fork and headset for movement and they both are ok? Cant figure this one out.
wheel bearings?
Have you changed the pads?
My Avids get a bit judder-y in certain conditions & I think it's down to the pads.
Good shout, I'll have a little play!
Had the same with mine, not actually looking for the fault, but I changed wheel, rotor, caliper and fork, and still had it.In the back of my mind I had a suspicion that it was down to the shape of the rotor giving a varied braking surface, and when I swapped it for a Shimano XT with a parallel braking surace the judder magically disappeared.
