[Closed] Help with chainset offsets (direct mount)

I have a 2016 Kona process with non-boost wheels and a Race Face Aeffect SL crank running a 1by set up.

If I buy a replacement chainring do I needed a 3mm or 6mm offset? I know I could measure what I have on the bike now - but I may well have fitted the wrong one last time in my ignorance, and the gears can be a bit clunky!

There are too many standards and I am easily confused (and ultimately not all that interested - I just want it to work!).

I was thinking of fitting a steel SRAM X synch 2 replacement as they seem a bit cheaper than Race Face - the fitting looks similar I think.
