Decided earlier to have a crack at servicing my DT Swiss Cerit rear hub and free hub.

Took it all apart OK and degreased the lot, water scavanged all the parts and dried them all in the sun for a few hours.

Put it all back together as instruced in the manual with new bearings (not free hub bearing as it was super smooth) but it now feels gritty when nipped up. It runs fine with hand tight torque on the nuts but 17Nm and it hardly move. When slighly nipped it also feels gritty.

Any ideas what could be wrong?
Any one know the size of the bearing in the free hub and is it easy to remove?
