First you need to ask yourself why you want to upgrade? What are you trying to achieve? What is wrong with the mechs you have?

I have gleaned from somewhere that Deore is the start of 'real MTB' level equipment, but Deore LX is where it's at for price/performance. Look out for discontinued items of old stock, I'm always picking up old bits of brand new LX and XT kit cheap for use later.

bit ocd with d bike gets cleand twice a week and relube shifting with d
altus and torney front mech just feels bit clunky when changing up and
down d gears i taught maybe upgradin it might help i was thinking about deore but wasn't sure if it would work on my bike ?
With it been 7 speed
