Hi, discovered today that the reason I have had gear change problems on my last two rides is that the guide on the front mech has snapped. No problem I will get a new one, however all it says on the mech is SRAM 2x10 and on the back of the silver plate "36-38t A5 Chainstay angle 66-69", not very helpful. My bike is 2016 carbon Stumpjumper and the mech attaches via the "taco blade" between
the seat stay and the rear wheel. There is nothing in my documents to say which SRAM mech it is. I found a review of the bike which said it came with SRAM X7 mech, but none I have seen online look like mine. Any Stumpy riders out there with any more info?
As long as it's the same mount either the X7 or X9 will work. So would a Shimano Deore, SLX or XT
I think I have one or two of those in the random box in the workshop
Drop me an email I'll see if I can help, take a picture and send it to me.

Thanks @allanoleary, I wondered about the Shimano option, its a strange set up (to me anyway) SRAM front mech, SRAM chain and a Shimano XT rear mech. The mount might be the constraint as it is a single bolt into the "Taco Blade". I think I will take it into the LBS where I bought the bike and ask their opinion as well, they used to be a Specsh dealer and are still servicing a lot of their bikes.
@SSSIMON - Thanks I have e-mailed you some pics, unfortunately I don't subscribe to any of the Instagram type services to allow me to put the pics up here.
Cheers
