Having some prob's setting up the above on a 2009 prophet using an SLX (M660)front mech with a DIY double ring setup of 28 inner and 40 tooth middle ring on XT triple chainset.
Just can't see to get a decent chainline. Tried using the BB spacer between the frame and the guide (as recommended by Blackspire) but the chain was being forced over to the outer ring (very slightly. Moving the spacer outside of the guide just seems to leave too big of a gap between the backplate of the guide and the inner ring.
How do you fit yours?
Get a [url= http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=36416 ]thinner spacer[/url] either side of the guide.
stick "blackspire" into forum search tool, theres at least half a dozen threads discussing fitting problems (and plenty of answers offered).
I didn't use a spacer when fitting mine but I would try and use a 0.5 mm spacer between the crank and stinger
