Just got an SLX bash ring, presumbaly use existing bolts for now unused big ring? But as bash is plastic how tight do you do them? Ta.

There should be a recommended torque value?
I just do mine quite-finer-tight with a long end of an allen key. Never had a problem with them undoing.
Absolutely zero scientific advise, sorry!

just fitted my gamut chain device, they recommend a quarter turn past snug if no torque wrench available and that's a plastic bash guard too
