I have just got a Merida Big Nine 300 and Im looking to get rid of the horrible fork and swap it with an Exotic.
The thing is, the front is to high for me as it is, so I noticed this one, but it is 42.5cm and mostly a 46.5cm is recommended.
The 29er fork is also £30 more expensive, so that's swaying me even more towards the shorter one, but will it affect the bike that much?
I already have a 120mm adjustable stem aiming down quite a bit! I like a lower front.

Any ideas?

If you fit a shorter fork then you will affect the way the bike steers and handles. Stay with the recommended length.
