[Closed] help on rear shocks

I have just brought a cube ams 130, ive never had a full suspension bike before and have always brought hardtails.
The rear shock is Manitou Radium Expert 200x51mm length, Lockout.
I was playing around with the lockout on the shock and tried to switch it across 90° to lock it out. however this didnt really work so turned it around further and it turns around 360° and the clicks back into same place as it started.
should it do this? Will i have broken it by doing this?
