The drive side bearing on my BB30 FSA crank is 'stuck' on the axle.
I'm not sure a conventional bearing/gear puller would be long enough to reach down the axle (plus I don't own one) so what's the best way to get the bearing off?
I don't really want to jimmy it off with screwdrivers etc as I'm sure that's not going to end well.
If it's really stuck soak it in a bit of penetrating fluid first. Depending on what you have to lever against (use something to protect the crank!) use a flat-head screw driver to prize it off, working around the bearing by twisting the blade and pushing against the inner race. You may not need to hit it if that's what you mean by 'jimmy'! ๐

Your levering description is exactly what I was referring to as jimmying!
I've got Plusgas so that's not a prob but I'm not sure if I've a fine enough flat bade driver to get under the lip, and with enough leverage.
Last time this happened to me I popped to a mates, who put the bearing in a vice, and knocked the axle with a big hammer. Popped right off.

That's so obvious I didn't think of it! ๐ 8)
I want to reuse the bearing (tis new) so I'll give this a gentle go

The bearing is on the crank, which I've taken out of the frame. - It would be a world record bolxup if I somehow managed to damage the frame!
