Hi all, recently broke my chain, fitted a new cassette and chain, after this refitting, the chain wraps itself around the crank whilst pedalling and locks up. Don't know why.
Crank looks fine. Any advice would be great.

Need new front chainrings? Did you clean off the transit grease from the chain and lube it.
I would still say chainring casuing chainsuck.
Does the chain lock up where you joined it? Possibly needs a side to side jiggle to loosen the tight link.
Transit grease?????
Do you have a definitive source to support that?
Or did you mean the super hi-tech grease lube the manufacture knows is best?

thanks all and yas i cleand it off and its not tight on the joint the rear mec was jumping forword and as well its like the chain wasn't releasing from the bottonm of the crank rings and bunching up between the crank rings and the swing arm
which is the classic case of chain suck
I assume the ring teeth look hooked as it is not dropping the chain but keeping hold of it.
new ring or reverse it for a bit more life
