that sounds like a good order of things you got there and not a bad weekend trip. where you coming from? linked to lee quarry is crag quarry which is on much higher ground with a link path between them both.

Dunno what kind of riding you are into but you could do Lee Quarry and Gisburn in a day, then do something natural in the Lakes on the way to Scotland. The 7 Stanes near Dumfries are the nearest thing to ride in Scotland I think.

Bring some midge repellent, even for Gisburn.

We were climbing at Laddow (Lancashire/Derbyshire border) last Sunday
and we got well & truly massacred.

Tebay services on the M6 is well worth a visit for genuinely good food btw.

Have a look on www.pmba.org.uk in the where to ride section, you can dowmload maps / leaflets for both Gisburn and Lee & Cragg Quarries.

Lock, pop into Blazing Saddles in Hebden and Ride On in Rawtenstall whilst you're visiting Lee/Cragg.
Lovely people, they will point you in the direction of all the local gnarr.

You could always knock on the door of the Singletrack lot in Todmorden as well.
They're very friendly and the coffee is excellent!
