Did you grease the rear skewer ? Mine creak from time to time and it sounds like a typical bb creak.. Spot of grease on skewers cures it for a few months..

You're not on your own, i'm a fellow victim of the 405 phantom creak!. I found that squeezing the top tube with my hand muted it a bit but I couldn't find the source.

Today I removed and regreased everything so I'm hoping for blissful quietness tomorrow morning!

Have you regreased saddle clamp bolts? I'm beginning to wonder if saddle flex is contributing...

It may be the anodizing creaking. ๐Ÿ˜†

Check between the shock bushings and the rocker links, in-between where they bolt together and see if the surfaces are smooth.

My old commencal would make some crazy creaking at the same spot though the travel turned out to be this, (between the bushings and the frame mounts anyway) I had to use some very fine sandpaper to take some rough scratches off, sorted.

Just read through this ,is there a possiblity of a hairline crack somewhere in the frame as it seems like you have cleaned, checked replaced virtually everything else.

what he said ^^

I had a C'Dale crack around the weld on the shock mount once. Took forever to find. Had it re-welded by a specialist ally welder and bingo, no more noise.
