I need a 20 hole front hub that doesn't cost £100000000. A hope pro 3 would be perfect but they only sell the 20h version with their carbon hoops (I don't understand this!).
Anything else reasonably light out there for less than £70?
EDIT - missed your budget
What about a factory spare from Mavic or Shimano?

(Without a description and knowing nothing about them is that ridiculously cheap or just not very good?)
Maybe worth checking out eBay - people seem to sell a few low hole count hubs after they've mangled their fancy wheels in a crash and seen how much the replacement rim/spokes cost.
Thanks guys. I've been keeping an eye out on the bay but nothing as yet. Factory replacement mavic or shimano seems like a good idea, failing that the ritchey looks OK.
Still annoyed at Hope though!
Have you actually rung Hope up and asked them nicely?
Worth a try! They did some rather special hubs for me a while back, just because I rang them and asked nicely! If they make the hub, they might be open to a deal!
I'll try that CFH. I did sent a nice email, but perhaps they need to hear my dulcet tones.
