[Closed] Help me decide

I wanted to try a ss setup, I was very happy when I found a ready to go on one 26er with some nice bits on for a great price. I rapidly typed dibs please, how would you like paying? Then I saw a 2 year old trek marlin ss 29er. I've been wondering what all the fuss is about regarding 29ers so....... I brought that as well.

Now the problem is I can not justify 2 single speed bikes to her that must be obeyed.

My plan is to turn on into a 1x9. But what one? They both ride nice. The trek will need a new back wheel and a new right hand drop out, the on one has a gear hanger already and the correct back wheel.
The on one has some Sid team forks ( mega light ) the trek has the heavy weight suntour ones.

One has to change. What shall I do?
