Hi Folks,
I shortened the hose on my marta and bled it (i have done this a million times so know what im doing!) The brake lever bites but progressively softens until it goes to the bars and the brake caliper lets go of the rotor! Anyone got any ideas on how to remedy?

Hi Mashie, how old are the Martas? Pre 2008 or the new ones? Sounds either like you've got a small leak or there's air still in the system.
Let me know which brakes you 'av and we'll see how to go on... 😉

Call Magura 01530 414142.
you may find that when you put the hose back into the master cylinder the hose may not have seated correctly.

spoke with magura and they have kindly offered to replace the master cylinder for a nominal sum. amazing customer service from magura.
