try as I might I cant get my kenda nevegals to seat properly on the rim. I've tried soapy water etc etc etc and pumped em up so hard I almost bust a lung! ๐
So any magical dead cert tips??
are your tyres UST?
to get tyres to seat properly i normally just keep pumping until i hear the 'ping' of them seating......this sometimes requires pressure of around 80-100psi!!
i had a similar experience whilst trying to fit some tubeless tyres the other night. Spent a couple of hours trying to fit them with no success. reaslised that the old hardened sealant was not allowing them to seal/seat properly and had to clean them all.
Inflate to 60psi and leave for a few minutes or swap the tyres as they are the problem, just coz they're new doesn't mean they're perfect. Take them back to the shop for a swap
