A 11/12-36t 9 speed cassette? Trawled the web can't find owt, can anyone suggest otherwise, ideally with a linky to buy!

It's not light.
There's another solution involving a 11-34t cassette and a 36t ring but it's very expensive.

Pretty sure you could make it an 11-36 with an 11T sprocket and lock ring from an appropriate cassette if needs be 🙂

Cheers guys, it's more the fact that Deore isn't as Hope hub friendly as XT that worries me....
