Just chuck lots of different colours at it (like you have with the components) and see what happens.

Here's a technique I've recommended to many others in your situation.
It's not foolproof, but it might just work.
1. Have a think about all the colours that you like.
2. Out of all those colours, try and decide which one you like the most.
3. Paint your bike that colour.
If things go wrong, just go back one step and try again.
