[#3780249]

After lots of hard saving I’m now looking for a 29er HT for up to £1000

Following a visit to my LBS, I’m trying to choose between the following bikes that are (just) within my budget:

Cannondale Trail 29’ER SL2 (£999)

Cannondlae Trail 29’ER SL3 (£799)

Specialized Carve Comp (£999)

Trek Cobia (£850)

Trek X-Calibur (£1100 – could possibly stretch to this)

I’m after any feedback / info from anyone who owns / owned / ridden any of the above?

Appreciate your help 🙂

Why not get a scandal from on one and build up with a mix of new and second hand bits?

Have tested the Spesh carve. Was very good Apart from the poor mud cleanace.
And maybe a little heavy but that's a price thing rather than anything else

Thank for all the comments.

The Charge Cooker Hi looks great - thanks for that yossarian 🙂

I'm on the Isle of Man so I'll see if anyone will deliver one here!

Just spotted this too On One Inbred 29 X9 big spec for the money but there's nothing at all about it on On One's website 🙁

Lots of mud here in the IOM so the Carve might not be ideal!

No too mainstream I guess for those of us who've been riding 29er HT's for years
