Longshot here, but looking for help...

I work for an organisation helping disabled people access the outdoors. We are attempting a long distance multi-day cycle ride around Norfolk from Monday 26th September. Unfortunately one of our accomodation options has fallen through. The problem is my colleague will be using a handcyle, is a wheelchair user and needs accessible accomodation at Sheringham on Tuesday 27th September.

The various hotel / b&b and camping pod options we tried are not available so I wondered if anyone on here had any suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried the YHA there? They have availability showing for private 1 and 2 bed rooms. They also have accessible facilities there. Nice place.

Yep, unfortunately the ground floor rooms are entirely booked out with a school group.

@tjagain thanks for the suggestion, I'll take a look.

Maybe somewhere like Kelling Heath or another local caravan site would be able to help out?

Not sure what specific requirements your colleague has, but maybe they have some accessible accommodation which would be suitable?

Thanks all. We've managed to book some alternative options so all good now. Finding accessible accomodation is always difficult; especially as many places claiming to offer accessible accomodation often don't (for example the hotel we called where the "disabled access room" was upstairs, with no lift...!)
Anyway, should be a fab ride, I'll post a link to the write up after we're done.
