Of all the topics on STW I am not seeing any on the best trail helmet. I am still using a cracked 2002 specialized lid....
I realise I need to protect my bonce. I ride cannock and trail centre's.
Please educate me.

Dont worry there will be another thread along in a minute. The best helmet is one that fits. Head off and try some on.

very true, plus helmet reviews are all subjective..
helmet performance is broad, some just pass certification, some well exceed the impact requirements.. but the best impact performing helmet wont protect you any better than a 'less good' helmet if the better helmet doesn't fit you well in the first place.
