I am wondering if anybody knows from experience the answer to the following question........
I currently am using a Giro Hex helmet however due to having quite a big (and obviously oddly shaped head) it just sits on top of my head and I am wanting something that preferably doesn't sit so high and offers more protection at the back of my head. Any ideas??? Was thinking maybe an Urge or POC????

661 recon or giro xar?
Both are all mountain style helmets with a longer back and get good reviews.

- Probably not a great choice, I found they both run quite small. The Hex does tend to sit quite high - if you can, try a Giro Feature, comes much lower around the back of the head and seems to suit bigger headed peeps. I've just got one, can't see myself going back to my old Hex again for off road stuff.Was thinking maybe an Urge or POC

Xar sits lower on your melon than the hex.
