[#3419874]

I'm after, for a friend who commutes by road, criteria are...

1.Helmet mounted
2.White at the front, red at the back, not to illuminate the road, just to be seen by.
3.Ideally running off aa or aaa.
4.Less that £50.

Are there any out there. I'm struggling to find any that fit the bill.

I use an Alpkit Gamma

The gamma has a red flashy box at the back.

or a Petzl E + Lite http://www.petzl.com/en/node/9350

Nice one. Alpkit is the front runner at the moment.

Any more out there?

Don't hang about if you want an Alpkit one, I picked one up from their warehouse today, it does exactly what you want and is good value at £12.50. They have just had a new delivery but numbers seemed tight, I'd order now.

If its only to get seen, then these will work fine.

Really no need for anything else

I've had my Alpkit Gamma for years. It's been lathered in mud on various battle camps, battered, trodden on and generally abused wherever i've gone on exercise.
For the price it's a damn good bargain but they do sell out quickly.

Steve-Austin, cheers for the link for those wee led ones, my kids will love them 🙂
