Hello,

Looking for a helmet camera.
I know very little about cameras in general and even less about video cameras.
Can the STW masses reach a consensus as to which is best?
I would like, in order of preferance:
Really simple to use, and just plug and play with XP computer
Waterproof (puddle submerging, I'm not going diving) and shockproof
Best picture quality, 10MPS or above?
A little screen on it for instant playback (see if I got the shot I wanted without faffing with the computer)
Small, light etc (does this contradict the requirement above?)
2hr plus battery. Would much prefer AAA or AA batteries to rechargable unit so I can just stick another set in and carry on.
Screw-hole thingy to allow tripod/pole use if required
All for under £100, maybe £120 if it's a really good one.
.
No objections to buying used if the above isn't available at that price. What's the thoughts on buying used camera stuff, is it like used helmets and I should stay well clear or do they tend to just run forever if looked after?
.
The length of stick for the moon must be greater than 6'5".
.
Cheers,
Andy H

I like my Muvi HD7. Can be had for about 85 quid. Not waterproof (but you can get a separate waterproof housing), uses a rechargeable battery, but it lasts about 4 hours. Dead easy to use and is very small. Good VFM.
