My cycling protective device, commonly referred ot as a "helmet", has a heap of cracks in it.
Some say the method of energy absorption is crushing of the polystyrene, if this is the case, then the cracks don't matter, correct?

My helmet has a heap of cracks in it.
I'd get that checked out if I was you... or maybe moisturiser would help?
