I actualy have the best on my second hand Alpine 160 frame, but the bloke I bought it off said it was fitted by the bike shop ! the bike shop said it was supplied by a another bloke who works for an F1 Team ! but gave no details ! bike shop was Leisure Lakes in Daventry I think . Amyway, the helitape fitted to said frame is perfect. Crystal clear, glossy, no muck gets under tape, no curled up edges.

SO, where can I get some from ? The last lot I got from ebay had a lined/matt finish, which did the job, but dulled the frame finish.

Anybody found the ultimate Helitape ? 😕

Simply the best tape i've ever used, i wont use anything else. It's the proper 3M stuff, not the sh1te on eBay. (even though they do advertise on eBay)

I got a roll of 3M 8671HS from the 3M rep at work, utterly superb stuff!

Bike shield available from Tim @ Sideways, had some on bikes for a few years now and still looks as good as new.

Got a roll here, same as they use at RedBull racing (Nato spec). £10 a meter for 4 inch wide if you fancy some.
