[#6726114]

Just taken delivery of my shiney new Cube Stereo carbon (yes, I've been a really good boy this year!), it's got the matt-type paint finish that Cube are so fond of and I'd like to heli-tape the frame, but am a bit worried it might screw the paint if I ever need to remove it.

Any thoughts/experiences out there?

Cheers & Merry Christmas!

Everyone too busy pissing it up on Xmas Eve?

Fair enough... If you can't beat 'em......

It shouldn't ruin any paintwork when you warm it and take it back off.
Couldn't get it to stick to my anodized 575 though.

It stripped the paint when I removed it on a few places of my Evil Sovereign.

Ah... thanks Nick, that's kinda what I was worrying about.
Might go with a few carefully placed frame protection dots for now.

It's a bike not an investment.

Ride it and enjoy it. If after a couple of years it carries battle scars then job done.

You can get a matt finish tape, slightly changes the appearance but not much.
Got off eBay. Couldn't be bothered to put it on in the end, but the bits I did were ace.
