[#3553152]

My heckler has rp23 and 120-150air rev teams. I love it, but wish it was a bit plusher, and maybe a bit slacker.

Talk me into/out of some Fox 36VAN/Coil Lyrik and a CCDB. The alps beckon this year ๐Ÿ™‚

I am erring towards the Lyriks because they are U turn.

What do we think?

dont bother with U-turns. Go with Lyriks - less service needed and just work. I have air Lyriks with CCDB.. its not "in balance"

I have talas 36 on mine which made it alot better for me than with the 150 revs I had on before, much stiffer and that touch slacker. I don't ever use the travel adjust on them though so might change for some 36 vans later this year. Lyriks are good to I would just go for the one you can get the best deal on.

I run mine with Fox 36 Floats and a DHX5.0 coil..

Hoping once I've got the coil set up right it will feel spot on..

I've got 36 Vans & CCDB on a Patriot. So much better than air that it's hardly worth comparing. Not once have I wanted the facility to reduce the travel on the Vans, which to me shows I made the right choice.

I`m going the opposite way on a Blue pig, swapping Lyriks out for Revelation DP Airs..... so I have a set of Coil Uturn Lyriks available if thats of any use ๐Ÿ˜‰

CCDB - a mate has one on his Pitch, and its lovely, it really is just a Minature Ohlins damper, so much control and you dont even know its there (Which is always a good measure in my experience on Motor bikes)

How about throwing bos into the mix? As in deville fork and stoy shock. Don't have either but are well recieved in the mags. Long service intervals with the forks as well. If I was building a new am frame up I would be looking at these.

I have u-turn lyriks and DHX5.0 coil on my heckler. Can't fault either, worked better than I did in the Alps!
