I might be up for this Tony. Will run it past the Mrs when she's hungover tomorrow from her Xmas do.

Edit: actually I might just get ready on Sunday and give her the "I definitely mentioned it to you on Friday night - when you were legless" line. ๐Ÿ™‚

New to the area so might do this too if that's alright?
Don't wait for me though, as I may be delayed deciding which of my 4 bikes which I don't really ride towards their ability to bring ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm going to have to give this a miss tomorrow chaps due to time restraints ๐Ÿ™

I'm going to make do by not going to the land of HtN to not have a look at the new stuff....

Think I'm gonna be struggling tomorrow too now. If I'm there, I will be. If not, I'll be at home in front of the fire doing some DIY type crap.

I had a cracking spin round HtNland. I reckon it's 10 years since I've been round there. Home and hosed by 10.30 am too! 8)

Hebden Bridge I have always struggled cycling round there and whoever is that video riding ice is riding really well indeed
I certainly wouldn't want to try cycle in those conditions

Yes apologies ton. We had our Christmas meal at 6pm on Sat and I expected to be home by 9pm as I didn't want to stay/stay out.

That didn't happen and Sunday I couldn't see straight. ๐Ÿ˜

Gutted I didn't make this. Seen a few pics of rides around Hebden this weekend with frozen trails and stunning blue skies. Absolutely gutted.

But... 16th December. I've got the full day out to play. Anyone fancy another Hebden (or Calderdale somewhere) ride? Factor in some ace trails and a pub stop?

Weird- the day before (Saturday) was the same in the Peaks yet very damp underfoot. Stunning blue skies- little wind but no ice at all.

Absolutely devastated I missed this pootle! I know a lot about hebden, I could have shown you some fine tracks, some extremely technical terrain like the blue pig, count me in too on your next adventure, I too will bring cake for all. ๐Ÿ™‚

If you know Hebbers so well you'll have noticed Blue Pig was done on Jasons map on the previous page... ๐Ÿ˜‰

And Blue Pig ain't technical... its a flat out blat.

I can bet you I've done a hell lot more technical riding than you mr wonder! I've guided in the alps for the last 7 years as well as being a part of a skills course team.

Fight, fight, fight!!!

Let's hope map reading wasn't required during guiding ๐Ÿ™‚

You can get both tyres off the ground in a few places on Blue Pig - I'd be interested to know why its described as not technical though..... Its got the opportunity to mug you around two bends.

It was oddly grippy on Sun, don't know why! Same cannot be said for the Blue Pig car park and the bridge though!

I think it's pretty techy in places, especially if you take the wrong line ๐Ÿ˜‰
