Considering getting a new lightish frame for standard xc type riding (no jumps or big drops). Problem is I'm 19". Max budget is £250.
The ones I'm Looking at are the Sunn Prim S1

and the On-one Scandal

Or should I stop kidding myself and get something burlier?

My experience @ 16 st is that you'll have no problems there with wheels on the ground xc riding - both those frames will see you right.

What you might very well do, at your weight, is get a fatigue-related crack in the frame after a few years. Think I've done 3 or 4 Al ones round the bb over the years.

Given the price of the frame, the fact it takes years for a crack to develop like this, and the fact it might not happen any way, then I don't see this as a particular problem.
