Hi there,
In the spirit of not venturing very far I have been searching maps for local trails etc I have never found before.
Not far from me is Heath Warren, I know there used to be stuff going on there (Gorrick etc) but is it still worth a visit ?

Or anywhere else local to Hook, Bramley, Sherfield way.

Lots to the south of the A30 - if you can find your way to the Basingstoke Canal towpath and go from there. From Greywell, it's possible to wend your way on bridleways and small roads to the Itchen Valley, Winchester and SDW. Head east and you can get yourself onto the Aldershot Ranges. It's mainly natural trails, probably more suited to a gravel bike in dry conditions.

Heath warren has been more than a little ruined by motorbikes, used to be just enough but all the nice (not a lot) stuff now have gouges down them which is a shame. Minley isn't far from there, thats ok, or a proper pedal gets you to area 51 which is ok.

if you're in eversley, head into bramshill woods behind the church amd from there there's bridleways/footpaths in various directions over farley hill, arborfield, swallowfield, and follow the roman road upto silchester.
