Are the trails up at Healey Nab suitable for a beginner? I can ride most things on the red at Dalby Forest if that helps.

they're fine, stick to the red signed path and you'll be right. By all means have a look at the black but there are some drops that require some attention

if it's too much then nip to white coppice or rivington (both in view from the nab)

to be honest the Nab isnt a big place. spend an hour there then go explore rivington ๐Ÿ˜‰

You will be fine on the red. I've always loved the nab and was very worried when it was announced that trails might be built there. But they've done quite a good job IMHO. You'll have to head over to Rivington as well, as the Nab is a very small area.
