Anyone know anything about the pump track that's appeared at the Whitworth end of Healey Dell?
Spoke to the blokes who were building it a couple of weeks ago, they were all BMX'ers and had their bikes in the van with them.

They seemed to be trying to avoid taking the trees out on the far side, not been down since though
Is it looking good?
Yes and no. In order to get the gear in they've put a real humpback on the wee bridge you cross to get in, which sort of destroys the flow out of the housing estate and up over the hill by the basketball court. The track itself looks good.
There's also been some work just where you go right to go up towards Prickshaw - they've put in a path but I haven't yet had a chance to see where it goes.
They've also filled in some of the muddy holes with gravel which is no bad thing.
