I need a very low stack height headset.
I have seen the threads on here recommending the crank brothers ones but the reviews say they are crap so to speak.
Is there a reliable low stack headset that you can recommend please!
What's unreliable about them? The cups will sit in the frame, and the bearings in the cups. Currently less than 20 quid, and a 21mm stack height. Keep them greased,and be prepared to change the bearings. They may wear a bit quicker, but will they catch fire or leap up and cut your throat/interfere with your children?
If you need low stack try a Ragley Stubbing stem at 30mm.
What head tube does your bike have? Cane creek double xx is a flush fit total stack height is something like 8 or 10mm including race, preloaded spacer and top cap
it will have a standard 1 1/8th steerer
