Bear with me, this is the first time I've pulled a headset apart. Everything seems to be in the right place as it doesn't seem that it could go together any other way.
Seemed fine at first but a couple of miles down the road the steering wants to centre and require a bit of push and pull to steer, hence feeling really horrible. It was fine before I took the forks off so I'm guessing this something I've done.
Ideas?

Don't forget to undo the steerer bolts first, back the top cap bolt off a bit then do up the steerer bolts again. ๐Ÿ™‚
