Hi
I am very confused in trying to buy a headset for my new frame. If I had purchased the bike built it would have come with a FSA orbit 1.5 zero stack internal cup for tapered head tube with 30mm shim stack.
I am buying the same forks as the original build but I don't want FSA, I would rather have cane creek or hope.
Just not sure what the technical stuff means.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hope pick and mix. You should find something helpful here.
What Frame?
Its a Jamis Dakar 650b pro.
I think it would be a 44/56 but you really need to check with where ever you bought the frame from...

I am not sure they would know. It was a private sale frame is brand new.
Just measure across the centre, going to be 49mm or 56mm and I suggest the top would be 44mm...

Thanks Jay
I found something on the usa website that talks about the geometry being 120mm for the headtube?
120mm is the headtube length...
