just fitted a hope headset,
do i use the head doctor that came with it or the SFN in the forks??
you decide or advise
If the SFN is already in the forks steerer tube, use that
thats what i thought....... no advantage then with the HD
always thought the SFN was more secure
TBH if the SFN is already in you don't have a lot of choice as it would be a bitch to get out.
No real advantage to HD aside the simplicity of fitting it with only an allen key. I use HDs and think they work well but others would disagree and say they break.
A SFN is a piece of p1ss to remove. Just shove it down the bottom of the pipe.

Depends if the pipe narrows towards the bottom 😮
