Anyone know if Hayes use regular Olive & compression nuts ?
Is it possible to re-use the olives ?
Anyone know where I can get spares ?

Currently building a longtail out of two frames.
Need to lengthen a Hayes Sole (I think) disc brake hose, to fit on the rear so having to use cut-to-length hose but I think one end is crimped on type connection.

Is it possible to join two hoses together ?

You could use this to join a cut hose to the caliper:

with one of these:

And they make something similar for the lever end although I've got away with re-using the original brass olive before - suggest you cut away the old hose to free the olive.
