Anyone used the hayes after sales service?just had the bit that holds the pad in place snap off from the piston came off way to easy and looks nice and corroded came off when taking the pad out which was pretty stiff.dont think they are a year old got to find the recipt.
what model of hayes are they? I hade some HFX's which I think has phenolic type pistons. the catches which hold the pads in place snapped off after an overheating and rapid pad wear incident. when the pins snap off the material looks corroded as the broken surface is matte and rough - this is just what the composite looks like though. i think there's a warning in the manual about being careful with them.
They are stroker, just emailed hayes dont expect to hear anything for a bit as i think its the american one couldnt find a uk contact, anyone know who deals with the uk side of things for hayes?
