Apparently at £8K plus it's classed as an accessory? 🤔 It's got STW upwardly mobile , aspirational , golf club carrying forumites written all over it ! 🤣🤣🤣( Someone put up a link 🙄)

Its a rebadged Fantic I think, with a suitable markup on the price.

Who buys these things?

Gotta love Fantic's spiel on the website
"characterized by a very “Extreme” bike ride, mainly along downhill runs or trails in very stressful conditions: very rough or dug-out bottoms, presence of even large stones, roots, drops. The downhill slopes are very hard" 😆

There's not a great deal of markup

Because its an Audi does it come with a decent warranty on the motor and battery .... unlike any other ebike on the market ?

Cars tend to have 8 to 10 year warranties on these components yet ebikes much less which in reality they are saying they are not reliable.

Geez does that mean I have to start matching my ebike to the car I use to get to the trails. Fortunately my Huracan can't get into the Peaslake car park so the decision is a bit easier, but I use the Audi to get work at the dental surgery.

Do they? Things appear to have moved on a bit. Hyundai must be slacking!

"“At Audi, we’ve been bold in our commitment to becoming a leader in providing sustainable premium mobility,”

When I'm king of the world anybody spouting this type of drivel will be made to clean up rubbish at the side of motorways in January in the rain.

Sustainable for whom? - the shareholders perhaps!

Also since when has Cav been known for his prowess uphill or down - have you seen him in the mountains!!!  They could have at least used Pidcock as an example

Price / looks are pretty much in line with other ebikes to me. Öhlins suspension German motor INCAS brakes it has some high spec parts. I'm not saying I'd buy one but it looks surprisingly normal for a car brand bike.

Inthink you are been a bit kind. 3 months working in a lithium mine with the children digging it out would be my suggestion

It did, different approach to the whole ebike thing and looked good for it too, I wasn’t too keen on the seat though.

Are Ducati still owned by the VAG group ? Seems like Audi has taken the same route as ducati did, albeit different ebike manufacturer.

I feel sorry for the Ohlins fork and shock.

When they start making competitively priced e-cargo bikes then it will be more than just a blatant attempt at greenwashing.

I have loved VAG cars and owned several Audis and my previous car was a VW. However, this is a miss.

So long as it doesn’t need its dashboard taking out to replace its heater motor. £900 labour 😂
